To My Friends...
@ 12:14 AM
I have a feeling 2 of my closest friends are not in good term...concluded based on both their blogs. Is that part of a reason why it's kind of hard to fix a coffee date with them? Is it also part of the reason why its kind of hard to contact them? I don't know but I hope whatever it is, it will pass by.
C'mon guys, new year is coming! Let bygones be bygones. Even though I may be left in the dark, it does not mean I don't care at all. But it also mean I will meddle in anything. I believe if you want me to meddle, either one of you or both may have confide in me. But I won't be offended if neither of you tell me anything. Just a hunch that its not in my area of expertise or I may not get it. By the by, whatever it is, I will never choose/side any of you over the other; I'd rather be left in the dark. So I really hope things can be work out between the 2 of you.
I know it's really hard to have meet-ups ever since I start work but I really promise I try to make an effort. Hey but whatever it is, you know I'll be there for you guys.
I'm still waiting for our coffee meet-ups for the 3 of us. I really miss you guys a lot.
Nadiah.

Merry Holidays
@ 11:35 PM
Christmas was just over and I received a lot of presents from colleagues. That is so far the most present I ever received. Not even birthdays comes close to that. The best present was the Mickey Mouse mug. It was the cutest thing I got. The funniest one was from my colleague from the same team, also known as "auntie". Whatever I guessed never came close to what she actually got for me and another colleague. Of all things, she gave us Biore facial Wash, green powder in a pack that is supposed to be facial mask and a made-in-China handmade watermelon magnet. Let's just say I quickly hid it at the bottom of the paper bag that I kept all the presents for fear of being caught dead getting that for Christmas presents. Next presents that comes in close 2nd as the worst was from my manager, she gave us tupperwares. No comments here. Well, the 2nd best present was Winnie the Pooh mug.
Well, new year is coming so must start thinking of new resolution. But probably the first one is to change either hair color or hair style or both (again!). The next one, probably my lifestyle. I am so leading an unhealthy one. The third probably less cursing. Apparently 2005 is the year I cursed a lot, all is blamed on the pressures, problems and changes that I experienced. My yearly resolution to have a boyfriend (don't laugh) obviously not attainable so this year I'll be more realistic, that is, NOT to have boyfriend. That shall be a simple resolution to be fulfilled.
But every year, I'm not too keen for new year to come because it means I'm getting older. On the more positive side, whatever happened in 2005 shall remain in that year. Any unhappy events, thoughts or feelings will be left behind and to start anew. So I shall welcome 2006 with an open arm and positive thinking.
Oooh anyway earlier this afternoon, after lunch, there was a fire drill in my office building. Everyone myust participate in the drill. The last drill happened (before I was there) last about almost 2 hours. It was a bliss for the smokers, all of them starts smoking. So, my assistant manager suggest to go to Caltex house and eat the Youghurt ice-cream. It was superbly yummy. Then halfway enjoying the ice-cream, we saw there is a booth selling Turkish ice-cream. Someone (was it me? I'm not too sure) suggested to buy the Turkish Ice-cream after finishing the yoghurt ice-cream. So I was having my last few spoons of the yoghurt ice-cream (as usual, I'm the last one to finish my food) when my Assistant Manager ask me if I want to buy the Turkish ice-cream. My other colleague have already bought it when I was still halfway eating my yoghurt ice-cream. So I quickly swallow the last scoop and went with my Assistant Manager to buy the ice-cream. We have just ordered wahat flavor we want when I realised there was crowd forming around us. All of them wants to be the spectators of the ice-cream man making a fool of us. Damned them. It was kind of embarrassing especially when I was the 1st victim. Then it was my Assistant Manager's turn. He whispered to me that he wil not fall for the trick. BUT he spoke to soon. He can avoid the tricky and quick moves of the ice-cream man. When we have our ice-cream and I was paying for them, I realised that the crowd decide to disperse. What the hell! They just want cheap entertainment to kill their time. I felt used. Hahaha.
By the way Syiq and Yun, the Turkish ice-cream booth is from the Anatolia shop at Far East.
Nadiah.

I need a Break
@ 10:15 PM
OK ... Yuana, Syiqin ... Satisfied now that I am updating the blog? Miss you guys like hell and miss our coffee time together.
Let me just update first why I am unable to blog for so long. I am going through sales rally so I've been working non-stop since the rally starts in November. I thought it will end in December but they decide to extend it to January ... so don't expect much contribution in the mean time.
Secondly, I just got the Internet re-connected since my sister forgot to pay the bill. So I've been Internet-less for quite sometime.
Thirdly, aside from coming home late at night, I've been trying to sort my personal life. Getting use to new dad, no mum and brother for the weekdays, grandparents for the weekdays, Jurong on weekends(erm...so far for 1 weekend only), aunts and uncles visiting more often than before (to visit my grandparents) and etc.
So I am trying to adjust to all this sudden things/issues/matters thrown at me and I could hardly cathc my breath. But I think I am getting a hang of it.
Aside from that, I try retail theraphy on Friday night and/or Saturday but apparently it don't work anymore. Or at least not with my sister and brother. More headache cos now I not only spend for myself but for my brother too.
So, when are we hanging out?
Nadiah.
