Important Lesson

Yes I know this place has been a Ghost Town. Its either I don't have the time or I don't have anything funny to share. Till yesterday...
We were informed by that there will be a power shutdown at 7pm. The whole building will not have any power at all. My manager insist on haveinga de-briefing 20 minutes before 7pm.
2 Minutes before it end, we ended the briefing. Some of my colleague decide to go down by the stairs...until the lifts door open. Everybody rush in. It decide to stop on the 2nd floor. Half of them decide to get out and take the escalator down to 1st floor. Sadly, I wasn't one of them.
The stupid thing is nobody realise that no one poress the first floor button. So up we went back to 7 floor since someone at that level was pressing for the lift to come. When we reach seven floor, there are a few people waiting for the lift and slowly moves in.
We got one minute left.
They still moving on. Its like watching a movie in slow motion.
Slowly the lift descend to 1st floor. The lift door opens. Everyone rush out. And we're safe.
*Note to self. In case of emergency, PLEASE don't scare yourself and USE THE STAIRCASE.
