Can U See This? @ 1:54 AM

OK...at long last, my blog can be read again. And I think the reason it can't be read before is because I resize the pic...hmmmm....

Got a job BUT I have a feeling I won't last long there. And it also makes me realise that I cannot work in an office environment. I get bored easily, I cannot sit still and I have stuffy nose due to the air-conditioned room. I tell my sis that if I stay grow thinner, it means I am unhappy working there, and if I grow fatter, it means that I am stressed out working there. Not much difference eh?

What I don't like about the job is that it requires me to do overtime. I don't actually mind working overtime but it's affecting the time I could have contribute on doing a service-learning. And I really want to do servi-learning...so if it doesn't improve overtime, I may have to consider finding a less time-consuming job.

Catching Up @ 1:05 AM

Meet up my cousin Mai and Syidah today. We need a lot of catching up to do. Me and Mai met up 1st. Whoa...we really hog the seat at Delifrance Bistro at Causeway Point. Imagine we sat there from 5pm all the way to about 9 pm. And when we decide to order a jug of drinks instead of 2 glasses, the person was like "Are You Sure". We did manage to finished up the drinks. Well we really have fun. Eating, reminiscing about our Secondary school life on how we were quite popular and mean, the sweet things that friends do for us and more. We had a very good hearty laugh that at some point, we have to stop all story-telling to catch our breaths.

After that, we watch a movie A Lot Like Love. the movie was okay. Personally, I though the good part was what they showed on the TV. Other than that it was quite boring. Like as though things are happening too fast for a 7 years period and only showed the supposedly important facts of their lives. Heck, I still quite don't get it why Ashton Kutcher's character became broke and lives with his parents again. I rather watch some scary ghost stories and have a nightmare for the rest of the week. Anyone up to watch something scary with me?

Oh, my feet is still killing me. It must be the stupid formal shoes that I wore for the graduation since halfway through the cereony, my feet was already numb and is killing me. I could barely walk properly. Yesterday, I soaked my feet in a pail of hot water with some course salt added in it. It was such a nice feeling that I almost fall asleep if not for my being hungry.

Graduates At Last @ 12:24 AM

Oh well, the unimaginable, long awaited day was finally over. I am officially a graduates from Ngee Ann Poly. Well...never really thought of me graduating...it felt like I just started school. Maybe because Poly life is really different from the government school that was compulsory for me to attend. I thought I would have failed at least one module (heh...no confidence over here!)

I couldn't recognised some of my friends, especially the guys with botak head and some are really tanned or physically changed. It was quite fun, and talking to Lecturers now is lesser stress now that we have no more worries about passing their modules.

But it was really kind of sad because I do really miss school. I like Poly life, give me the independence that I need. It really changed who I was both for the better and the worse, but I have no qualms of the changes. I'm surprised I didn't cry though there are times that really makes me want to go to a corner and just bawl. It's too bad I didn't see a lot of people that I hope I will bum into for the last time (hint! hint!)

Just as it was sad, it was kind of a relief. Hopefully getting a job is much more easier now that we already have actual proof that we have graduated.

I've purchased the pictures from the vendor of me shaking hand with the Director. Hopefully it doesn;t turn out funny or weird since they really did not give us a chance to pose for them more photogenically. Well, just cross my fingers the.

Exercise Anyone? @ 6:24 PM

Well...my sister and I rearranged our room some time ago to create a space for us to exercise...or at least do some stretching. But so far, only I did some stretching, once in awhile. That is partly because I need to unwind my muscles from a hard, strenous part time job that demands most of my energy physically. But my sister's progress have not been as planned. Not even near. The only excercise she did in the room is blinking and opening her loud mouth demanding why my stuff is so messy on the table. and she didn't realised her stuff is messing up the whole room.

And what about my plan to jog every morning that I made about 2 months ago. Well...let's just say it's not happening yet. We did plan every Saturday night to wake up early on Sunday morning to jog...BUT...somehow there will always be a reason that doesn't allow this to happen. And as you can guess, we will woke up in the afternoon instead.

Talking about exercising, I realised that just the other day, I ate the whole spring chicken by myself. Well, not the whole actually. I didn't eat the head (hehehe) or the drumsticks (bluergh!) Whoa...I really need to lose some of that chicken in me...

The Interview @ 2:52 PM

On Friday, I had an interview. It was suppose to be on Monday but they have something on, so I told them Friday was my next available date. Well....let's just say that THAT was the worse interview I ever had. Well firstly, I have to translate a set of sample questionnaire from English to Malay. Well...let's just say I was laughing madly to myself for the choice of words that I was using. It was realli hard and I can't translate almost half of it. And those that I can, well...the sentences sound really awful.
Then there was the powerpoint test whereby I required to do the exact same things as the one on paper. The charts are of those something that I never knew existed. It was so complicated. I really just do what I thought I could. But the end result wasn't that great either.
And lastly, just a short interview with the person, whoever she was. In the middle of our interview...my stomach growls loudly, and it was during THE silent moment! Geez...but you can't really blame my stomach because I was in the cold aircon room for almost 2 hours and I only have some cereal drinks earlier in the morning.
And that was not the worse of it. When I was going down the underground tunnel to go to the otherside, I was walking down a gentle slope. My shoes was killing my leg and it kind of have a slippery soles. So I slipped and end up in the attack position for fencing. Luckily there was no one...or so I thought. Because when I recovered, there was this lady from a different staircase just came round, but I don't know how much she saw. I rather not know, though.
Well then the next day when I woke up, my left butt is killing me. I couldn't walk or sit or stand. At one point, the pain even went down my left back thigh and up my lower spine. I suspect it might be from the position that I fell. Luckily, a few hours later, I was okay...

Did I hear Rite...?? @ 12:03 AM

Just the other day when I was watching TV woth my mom when there wasa scene showing 2 women. My mom commented that the black lady have a nice curly hair ad it suits me. After a short pause she say that if it suits me with "that" hairstyle. I wasn't sure whose hairstyle she was referring but based on the previous sentence I assume she was referring to the curly-haired lady. But then something struck in my thought..."My mom was an anti-unoriginal hair styles. So it would have to be the other lady, the blonde one with her long hair tied up...Wait a minute...that's not possible too...Cos she never allow me to keep my hair long when I was yoounger and I she always make sure I have (very) short hair..." After 5 minutes of talking in my own head, I decide to cool it down by asking my mom which one she was refferring to. She says, "the one with the longer hair who have it tied. Rite now your short hair is MESSY. If you keep it long and bun it up or tie a ponytail like last time then it will be neater" Whoa...Short MESSY Hair? When my heir was (considered) long, she says it was messy too. And no matter what I do, my hair will still be messy. So I decide to share this news to my sister and we laugh at the contradictory remarks my mom was making earlier...

OOoohh...just remembered a disgusting thing I witness in the train the other day...there was this Grandma sitting beside an Indian lady on a two seater seat in the MRT. The grandson, about 4-5 years old was standing in front of her when he wanted to pee. So the granny took out a plastic bag and tell the son to pee in it. Well, I pity the Indian lady sitting beside, having to witness it. Luckily I didn't see any water spraying around. And after that, the granny tie the plastic bag up. EEUUWW!!!

Oh by the way Syiqin, the cake was nice BUT I kept it in the fridge, so it was a little bit hard to bite...hehehe!The next outing, my treat to a drink for you okay.

Oooh cant wait for the Sentosa oyuting next Sat...can hang out with all my frens again...except...I can't really tan with the guys around...No Free Show!! Hehehe...Oh well...probably just have to tan my leg!
