Graduates At Last
@ 12:24 AM
Oh well, the unimaginable, long awaited day was finally over. I am officially a graduates from Ngee Ann Poly. Well...never really thought of me graduating...it felt like I just started school. Maybe because Poly life is really different from the government school that was compulsory for me to attend. I thought I would have failed at least one module (heh...no confidence over here!)
I couldn't recognised some of my friends, especially the guys with botak head and some are really tanned or physically changed. It was quite fun, and talking to Lecturers now is lesser stress now that we have no more worries about passing their modules.
But it was really kind of sad because I do really miss school. I like Poly life, give me the independence that I need. It really changed who I was both for the better and the worse, but I have no qualms of the changes. I'm surprised I didn't cry though there are times that really makes me want to go to a corner and just bawl. It's too bad I didn't see a lot of people that I hope I will bum into for the last time (hint! hint!)
Just as it was sad, it was kind of a relief. Hopefully getting a job is much more easier now that we already have actual proof that we have graduated.
I've purchased the pictures from the vendor of me shaking hand with the Director. Hopefully it doesn;t turn out funny or weird since they really did not give us a chance to pose for them more photogenically. Well, just cross my fingers the.
Nadiah.
