Poor Girl
@ 11:00 PM
After reading my cousin's blog, it reminded me to blog about THAT day. One of the fun days we have together as a family. My sister, 2 cousins and I went to the zoo, and a secret 2nd destination not known to poor Mai.
She never suspects that we can be so conniving. Poor girl thougt we won't play pranks on her.
Here we are not acting like ourselves, whispering secretly to discuss for Operation Sentosa for 2nd half of the day, keep close of the time and giving secret looks and yet she was unaware of it the whole time.
We tried to act nonchalant. Its not that difficult to do so since poor Mai is not the suspicious kind.
After some monkey sightings and observing things that shouldn't be made known to little kids (yes Mai, you corrupted my mind. I can never look at animals the same way anymore) we decided to get out of the zoo. Even with supposedly no destination in mind, not discussing where to go next, and the 3 of us acting as though we can communicate where to go next without speaking; she still did not suspects anything.
Unfortunately the taxi driver have to repeat our destination after Ani tries to discreetly inform him of our next destination. Poor 3 of us being called, "Idiots", "Korang Jahat" "Scheming", "Barbary Sheep", "John Hancock" "Kambing" and etc. Then Ani accidentally have to mention that we are going to Sentosa via Cable Car. Poor Mai looks as though she's having the worse day of her life, not sure wat will be going on for the coming 5 minutes onwards. She must be thinking "First, the Sentosa (due to an Incident not directly affecting her), then the Cable Car ride (unfortunately for her we didn't know she was afraid of heights too). Next what?" And like a prisoner she was treated, with 2 of us holding and dragging her at her sides while the other lead the way and buy tickets, Fort Siloso was a good destination with a marching song (that makes us march like idiots) that accompanies us.
After some sight-seeing, to the beach we went. Imagine 4 girls in bright red tee-shirt (that was our dress code, my sis' idea) talking and laughing in the beach and minding our own business. That was fun. I learnt how to float, yay! (Thanks Mai. You'll be a great teacher.)
And we wrapped things up by having dinner and a long sleepy bus ride home.
That was a fun day. Family outing. Bullying. Trying to see who has the best photo-taking skill.
Poor Mai. Got bullied, again. That day was a reminesce of her childhood day when we dig her goreng pisang, put lots of sugar and cover it up again while she went to the toilet and left her half eaten goreng pisang aside. But she have fun (you better! It's not easy to plan it and you asked too much questions!)
Till then, the 3 of us will plan another "outing" for her. Hehehe.
Nadiah.
