My mom really knows how to scare me one Thursday night. I was falling asleep. It was almost midnight. Mom suddenly call me through my mobile. Like normal people, I'll think of the worst. So I hesitantly answered the call in my quite groggy voice. After the usual pleasantries, she ask me; "Nadiah, what was the hotel name that you stayed in when you were in Malacca?"
I was really dumbfounded. Here I thought it was something serious and she ask me that in the middle of the night.After a few seconds of recovery, I told her I don't know. Because at that time it was all paid for by edusave so I couldn't care less. Besides, I was 15 at that time.
When she return from Malacca, she better get me something enough for me to forget the incident and won't remember to lecture her on the etiquettes of a phone call. Haha.
